Will Friday’s payroll clear?
You’ll know on Monday. Not at 11pm on Thursday, doing sums against your bank balance.
Altairian chases every overdue invoice for you, reads the replies your clients send back, and tells you what is actually landing in the account this week.
Customer results
Stock is paid up front. Accounts pay net 60.
You buy inventory on your own terms and sell it on longer ones. Every good month ties up more cash than the last, and growth makes the gap bigger.
Tied up in stock already shipped and invoiced.
What factoring takes at 3% of a $190,000 invoice. Rent on cash you already earned.
You are profitable. You are also short. Those two facts sit next to each other every week, and neither one is a mistake you made.
Three steps. Then it runs on its own.
Connect your accounting system
Sign in to QuickBooks or Xero. Your open invoices, clients and payment terms come across in about 15 minutes.
It chases every overdue invoice
Emails go out from your address on your schedule. Polite first, firmer later. You stop writing them.
A client replies, you get an answer
The reply is read, the chasing stops, and you see what the client actually committed to and when.
Four agents work your ledger every morning
Think of them as four back-office staff who start at 6am, never forget an invoice, and never send anything to a client without your say-so.
The chaser
Watches every due date and sends the next email in the sequence from your address. Polite on day 3, firmer on day 21.
The reader
Opens every reply, works out what the client actually said, and stops the chasing before the next email goes out.
The negotiator
Turns "we can pay in four instalments" into a dated plan inside your late fee limits. It drafts. You approve.
The forecaster
Scores each promise on whether that client has kept its last ones, then tells you what Friday’s payroll looks like.
The agents never send money, never sign anything, and never email a client outside the sequence you approved. Anything they are unsure about lands on your worklist with the reason attached.
Reminder tools send reminders. This one reads the answer.
Here is a real kind of reply, and everything that happened in the ninety seconds after it arrived.
“We can’t clear the full balance this month. Our own client payment slipped. Could we do four weekly payments starting next Monday?”
Re: INV-4402 · $64,150 · 22 days overdue

Questions people actually ask
Does it work with QuickBooks?
Yes. QuickBooks Online and Xero, both directions. Invoices, clients and terms come in. Payments, notes and promise dates go back. QuickBooks Desktop is a nightly file sync instead.
Will it email my clients from my address?
Yes, from your domain, signed by whoever you choose. Replies land in that person's inbox as normal. Your client sees an email from you, not from a tool.
Is it legal to charge late fees?
In most states, if your contract says so and the rate is within the state limit. Altairian checks the rate against your client's state before sending, and holds the fee if your agreement does not cover it. It is not legal advice, and you can turn fees off entirely.
What happens if a client disputes an invoice?
Chasing stops on the disputed lines only. The rest of the invoice keeps moving, so a question about eight hours of overtime does not hold up $17,000. You get the client's words and the two lines in question side by side.
How long does setup take?
About 15 minutes to connect and review your terms. Most agencies watch the first week in read-only mode, then turn sending on.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the billing page. Monthly stops at the end of the month. Quarterly and annual are refunded for whole unused months. Your data exports to CSV on the way out.
