This policy forms part of our Terms of Use. It explains how cancellation and refunds work for Altairian subscriptions.
1. Try before you pay
Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial with no card required, so you can connect your accounting system and see Altairian working on your own invoices before paying anything. When the trial ends, the account pauses until you choose a plan; nothing is charged automatically.
2. Cancel any time
- Cancel in Settings → Plan → Manage billing, or email legal@altairian.io from the account owner's address.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for (month, quarter or year), and then the account pauses.
- You can export your data before and for 30 days after your subscription ends.
- To avoid the next charge, cancel before the renewal date shown on your Plan card.
3. Refunds
Because you can try Altairian free before subscribing, payments are non-refundable, including for unused time in a monthly, quarterly or annual period and for unused usage allowances. We will refund:
- duplicate charges, or charges made in error;
- any amount charged after you cancelled in time;
- prepaid fees for the unused period if we end your subscription for our convenience;
- where the law where you are gives you a right to a refund that cannot be excluded.
To ask for a refund, email legal@altairian.io within 30 days of the charge with your account email and the charge date. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method by our reseller, usually within 5–10 business days.
4. Changing plans
Upgrades take effect immediately and may be charged pro rata for the rest of the current period. Downgrades and changes to a longer or shorter billing interval take effect at your next renewal.
5. Who bills you
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments, which is the merchant of record for all our orders. Dodo Payments handles payments, invoices, sales tax/VAT/GST and refunds, and its buyer terms apply to your payment. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; most issues can be fixed faster directly, and chargebacks for valid charges may lead to suspension of the account.
